Practice Sheep - Large Ewes
5-7 Large Ewes in Field
Service Description
This is designed for dogs who already have the basics of herding and just need more miles and a place to practice. Useful aids will be available to borrow while you practice - a long line, several flags, and obstacles like barrels. This session does not have an instructor present, but if you require assistance please text (we are always around). *Please bring your own water/bowl for your pet and refrain from jumping in the livestock troughs. Be respectful of the environment and clean up after your Dog(s). Close all gates, and be mindful of the horses. If you or your dog cause damage to the stock (even a small injury), let us know so that it can be monitored and rested, if it is significant enough to warrant veterinary care you will be responsible for the cost (up to the animal's market value). Herding inherently puts you and your dog at risk of injury/death - you are solely responsible for your own actions (make good choices and be safe!). *these sheep are not suitable for dogs early in their training* if you aren't sure if your dog is at the right level, please reach out for an assessment.
